Italian hospital says it's turning scuba masks into ventilators as supplies run low

The good news is that, after the system did proof effective, Decathlon provided 10,000 masks for free to Italian hospitals:
Decathlon regala 10mila maschere da snorkeling alle regioni
and a number of 3D printing shops did organize for manufacturing the Charlotte valve, the interface between the mask and the hospital's oxygen circuit.

Some people have also wondered if these masks could be modified for use as protective equipment to be worn by healthcare workers. Has anyone printed a simple adapter to connect an anaesthesia filter to the mask's snorkel inlet?

I was about to post that as well. Saw it on their website a few days ago when ordering.
