The second dive do at slack and keep your depth at 30 FSW. It took us an hour. The cut through is as a depth of around 16’, a little trickier to find but easier for a novice (no chance of currents). Both are good dives.
 
Thanks. Between the routes shown in the pictures and the good descriptions I feel like I would have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

Let me add to the current. I have hundreds of dives at FTW . The currents are tricky and strong. There will be times the current is going out at 30FSW but coming in 60FSW at the same time. If a diver is using current direction as part of their nav tools the diver needs to be aware of this fact. If you hit the point at anything but slack tide you'll be doing a lot of kicking, a lot of kicking. Dive it with a club is my best advise.
