My buddies Matt, Ed and I did Ft. Wetherill today. The place was totally empty for a change.

We did the "cove to cove" dive. Entered in the right cove and exited in the left after going around the island between the coves. The visibility was pretty poor (maybe 3-4 ft) but since we were getting rain and gusts to 60 mph on Friday that's not too surprising. Below about 30 ft it was dark enough it might as well have been a night dive.

Water temps were between 41 and 43 degrees F. Air temps were in the low to mid 30s.

Very noble of you to post that report. Makes me feel like I haven't missed much this weekend. Looks like.

Hopefully thing will clear up sometime the waether patterns have been fickle for diving in Jamestown.
