Thank you for sharing a nice dive. I always enjoy trying new sites and meeting new people. It was nice to meet you.

Thanks Wayne:thumbs_up: - I was going to pm you and Pete but I will respond here and kill two birds with one stone. I'd like to thank the two of you et al [sorry I am terrible with names.] We never did get to do the circumference of the fort, but I learned that I need to iron out a few more wrinkles before I do that with others. That first big hunk of shallow ledge at high tide that you must get across to get down river a little ways is very disorienting. If you are too shallow the surge is rough and then when you try to get around it you just keep getting deeper into the channel. I am going to have to find the "secret passage." Also I think that to do the circumference on one tank would be a "foot race" and not too enjoyable for those trying to follow. I had a good time and hope to catch up with both of you later. Next weekend I'll be up near Bar Harbor [Surry] visiting cousins for the weekend and the next weekend my club [UDNH] is having an outing at Ship's Cove. I think the same day your club is doing a trash cleanup dive at Nubble. Anyone up for a night dive Thursday at Nubble - conditions permitting?

Sorry, I should have put my real name, Carole. Thanks for the offer, but I live in central MA and I can't get there during the week.

I'm sorry Carole - I saw the profile on the sidebar said Central MA and like a dummy I thought Central MAine. Wayne is from Gray which is central Maine for me anyway[My family is from the Bangor area.] I assumed it was him. I enjoyed meeting you also and I am sure we will meet again. Luckily you had a good day for the fort. The viz can be very poor there even on beautiful days. It's because of the runoffs from the Great Bay watershed I quess. I wish we could of gotten over into the scenic areas. I plan on diving there a lot this winter after the pots are out. Maybe we can get a group together again. I enjoy diving at the fort but this has been such a fantastic summer for diving at Nubble that I have not been using my Plan B [Fort Stark] much. I don't think I have had to leave Nubble dry once this summer. Be safe...........Joe
