Hey all, I'm off to Roatan in a few days and was thinking this time I'd love to check out Mary's Place or Prince Albert Wreck, both on the south side close to French Harbour. I'm staying in West End.

Question: Am I right to assume that I should be able to find an operator in West End that will facilitate a trip to the south side? I'm assuming that it will include an operator that has a boat on the south side and will involve a trip over land to French Harbour or similar. I can't see operators taking their boats from West End to the other side of the island?

Could someone let me know what I should expect? Cheers!

Diving with Coconut Tree Divers? They set us up with an operator who took us to both of those sites. And it did involve a drive over. We were back in time for the 2PM dive.

If bad weather is coming in from the Northwest, most shops (CTD included) move their boats over to the South and take their divers over there by truck or van.

Add in the "Mr. Bud", she's an intact, upright shrimper (approx 80') lying in 55~65fsw... also on the South side, right in the French Keys area.

Sweet! Thanks for the input gents. We are most likely diving with CTD so that's great news. Cheers!

Some of the dive shops in West End will post when they are going south...
