We are an italo-spanish couple travelling around. We knew that Philippines were famous for their underwater so we decided to try diving. We did our open water course with Sea Rider, in Small La Laguna. Among the dozens of diving centers in Puerto Galera’s area, we chose them at the beginning because of the very competitive price. Soon we understood that we came across the best instructor ever. Mark is like a fish underwater, he’s a very patient and passionate instructor, with an encyclopedic knowledge of the sea bottom, who can transfer you his passion and good vibrations. We really had the sensation that we weren’t buying a simple license but we were learning how to dive. Most important they were very pleasant people with whom we shared a fantastic week. We were so happy with them that we changed our plans in Philippines and decided to go back to Puerto Galera for doing some more diving with them.
Now we are in Da Lat, Vietnam and we are heading to Nha Trang where hopefully in few days we will be diving again ;-)

Cheers,
Maribel & Carmelo

Sounds wonderful.

Message me if I can help you find something.

Welcome aboard scubaboard.
Yes mark at Sea Rider is a good instructor, but also a fantastic guide to point out the macro life. Plus the captain, Manny, is a good boatman.
I love the fact you can pick your times to dive and the surface interval is back at the shop.
