Check the seperate post on here about Air Jamacia. There are several negative posts about people having problems with them since the Jamacian government apprantly took over and the financial problems. Apparantly a large percentage of canceled flights and flights that never "existed" in the first place. All this means you might not even have a flight down.

I'd check with American or another carrier before I put any money into Air Jamacia if it was me.

Yoll get there the flights from atlanta are ok just late but the return is when you don't know if you will have a flight. good luck. i'd rather swim.

Well it looks like we'll be up for ulcers as well. We just booked Continental to Aruba and then Bonaire Excel to Bonaire for our first Bonaire trip in May! 10 days! Yay! Yay! Using the miles meant we had enough cash to make it a 10 day trip instead of 6 days :)

Please let me know how things went with the BE connection (and your trip in general for that matter) when you get back.
