I did not dive in my country , the water here is very cold and I do not like that very much, but it is a grat diving in a wale point named Puerto Madryn, the place it´s great!
Chile is even worse, the water it is colder than here! But Brazil...ha! Brazil has great diving, I can recommend Buzios it is a small island close to Rio de JAneiro (you can rent a car from there) and it is very cheao too. Also Angra do Reis has a grat diving.
Have fun and enjoy your trip when you get here, come to Patagonia, you can not miss it!

HAH! I don't think cold water bothers DrBill. He dives Calf's Catlaina island almost every day - in a 3 mil, where I wear an 8.

Dived the St.Lawrence river today, between New York and Ontario Canada in a 5 mil - 67 F water. Being from Texas, people presumed I'd be a warm water wuss, and kept asking me if I was okay. "Hell, yes, I'm okay. Let me take you diving the Calf kelps beds. At least the fish have colors other than green and brown." :crafty:
