Nope, the Subject line isn't some kind of 'adult' spam. :)

Just got back from a great week of diving with Aldora.

The weather was good, the current moderate, the people friendly, and and the diversity of critters was astounding (and I'm not just talking about fellow divers!).

Interesting sightings ranged from pipe-horses and a shield-head slug at 1 1/2 inches (under 4cm) to a dolphin, sharks, eagle rays, and morays at over 7' (2m+ for the metric-enabled). Great thanks to Lianng for spotting the small stuff.

Some of my videos/photos can be found on my Flickr page. (https://www.flickr.com/photos/rmsppu/sets/72157677946682882/with/32697176042/)

Glad to hear you had a good time. Congrats.s on the dolphin; still hoping to see one on a dive someday. Where did you stay in Cozumel? Any particular topside experiences highly recommended?

Richard.

Yeah, the dolphin was a special bonus, but it was a glimpse at a distance. For me, the eagle rays were the real thrill.

Stayed in an Air B&B on Avenida 5, across from Casa Cozumel. Inexpensive, nice host, great location, large studio w. kitchenette. I will recommend it, but there were some issues that were minor for me--which might not be as small for everyone. Contact me directly if you want more info.

Topside experiences? The food, of course. :)

Favorites: lunches: Philipino/Indonesian food @ the Municipal Market or tacos & tortas @ Chino Marinero, dinner @ Los Otates, breakfast at Corazon Contento. All cheap, plentiful, flavorful. (I've done higher-end dining when traveling with my wife, plenty of great choices at that end too.)

enjoyed your videos! Thanks for sharing. I did not realize that was how the eagle rays fed! Nice footage captured!
4 months till we are there in person..... you helped make the wait easier.
