Doh! Sorry very late at night here - didnt read your post right til the end! No they were just setting up Lembeh last time I was in Bunaken so I cant say anything other than I like the staff and management and find they go out of their way to give you great value diving.

Hello,
I stayed at NAD for 5 days in July and had an absolutely amazing time. The accommodations are nice, simple yet comfortable, and the food was varied and tasty. The diving was amazing, of course, but what really made the trip for us was the hospitality. Simon and Zee were great hosts, and we were very well taken care of by the rest of their staff. Froggies (I believe) is right next to NAD. We went by it every day on our way out to the sites. It looked fine from a distance, and one of their boats pulled up next to us at one of the sites we dove. Their boat seemed perfectly nice, and all of their guests looked happy, so I'm sure you'd be fine there. I guarantee that you'll have a great time if you choose NAD, however.

I would recommend NAD. I was there about 6 nights last March. Unfortunately Simon and Zee were away. Very reasonable rate on the rooms especially if you are a single traveler and diver. I shall return one day.

Haven't been to Froggie's, but another vote for NAD. Simon and Zee are on this never-ending quest for more improvements. I'm anxious to get back there!

Been to NAD and agree with the above votes of confidence, BUT I've just been on Froggies website and their bungalows look much better than NAD's.
Stayed at Diver's Lodge Lembeh and that was brilliant, and it is similarly priced.
In all honesty I have hardly ever heard a single bad review coming out of Lembeh, so regardless of where you stay you'll have a great time.

I agree I think between lembeh lodge, NAD, two fish, bastianos they all offer similar services and accommodation. Each has its own positives having researched them. Personally I have only used two fish (twice) simply for the people there, the guides. The guides will be good in all the places. If you have the dollar then lembeh lodge and lembeh hills have more upmarket setup. Froggies was v new when we boated past them daily and it was dead with only few guest. But was newly opened. But the bungalows looked nice with a view, and the boats looked good. Whether they have experienced dive guides? Who knows? Pick from a hat if u can't decide. But pls post a report if u go Froggies as would b keen to read.
