Splitfins if the right ones are great fins for power and speed. You may have to get another pair to do the finess frog kicking. I have 2 buddies who do good frog kicks with the Mares Quattros. You brought up a great question and I never realized trim was important for a good frog kick. I may start working more on my trim given the answers that have been provided. I'de like to learn good frog kicking myself.
 
Nice Link NE Diver. So as it looks you are pushing of with the bottom of the fins somehow?. Gonna take a bit to get used to.

Definately the fins, you cannot effectively do a frog kick with splits. Get yourself a good pair of ScubaPro Jet Fins and you'll be fine.

I guess we have an exclusive Jetset here. Once they go Jets they never go back. I gotta try those someday. I understand they have been making those for Jets for decades.
