Hi TedJ, the software I use to put my pics on the web is called Express Thumbnail Creator. It exactly what I was looking for in that it allows very simple conversion of a directory full of pictures to be turned into a website. Have been using it for a while now and am very happy with the results. The shadow is one of the options.

You can download a trial copy at http://www.express-soft.com/etc/

Have a play with it...hope it is of use.
Another great one is Gallery. You can see it in action on my personal site as well as the wreck valley site

Nice pics everyone...but...if you havn't dived in the Great Lakes area and the St-Lawrence river; you don't know what you've been missing. Over 8000 extremely well preserved wrecks (yeah...no salt and Cooold water will do that). The best wreck diving in the world, IMO.
