now that i've gotten over the frostbite...nite dive for bugs...around 8pm...windy, waves crashing into the rocks enough to spray the cars that were parked on right side. But beach area pretty calm. vis was 5 ft. water temp 43 and strong surge which made it interesting when shoving the bugs into the bag. Got out after 40 minutes. nothing like painful finger tips to cut the dive short.
 
Just wait a few more minutes longer and the finger tips go numb so there is no more pain and all is well.

Well except for when you get out and into the freezing wind.

Way to hang in there; I know your pain. I refuse to go with dry gloves. Best thing is to have a dry towel and a few pair of easy to put on gloves when you get out. Maybe some sort of hand warmers may work also for that time. A thermos of hot anything to drink afterwards works also.

Maybe I'll join ya some time.
