I used the WAL to re-shoot the LVT-4 wreck. The only adjustment made to these two photos was "Auto Levels" in Photoshop. I did not use the "mandrake process" on them. I am convinced Manual White Balance is the way to go on non-strobe shots. Also, today's visibility was near perfect.

Very nice~! I really like the first one. Something about the greenish bottom blending with the blue top....

Dee, i have to agree with you. the way the 2 colors meet makes it beautiful. as always, thank you sir for sharing your beautiful pics with us.

Very nice Gilligan! The colours are much more natural - I prefer these pictures corrected with Levels than some of your earlier pics with the 'Mandrake' process. The visibility must have been perfect. How deep is this?
Perhaps try using Curves instead of Auto Level.....

I'll give that a try ReyeR, thanks for the tip. The wreck is at 60 feet.

what the approx size of that wreck?
It looks like it could be fairly small but diving up here the vis isnt that great and I could never pull off a shot like that...

Beautiful!

two questions 1) did you do the manual white balance on your camera while underwater for each separate shot or only once at that depth?
2) can you post the untouched original so we can see the difference?

Thanks!
