I'm off this Friday, If the weather looks good I think I'll head out to the Sheridan around 6:30 - 7:00 am. I could probably get 3 more on-board. Any takers?

Dave where do you launch your boat? Trying to figure out how long the drive is in the morning...

Cheers.

If you're gonna dive, Friday will be much better than the weekend. Northwest winds 20-25 mph are predicted for Saturday

Clearwater, If I can find a public launch.

what site are you getting that from? NOAA says 15-20 ( not that theres much difference) I'd like to be able to check more than one source (NOAA)

Thx.

BTW,

The back-up dive site would be Veterans reef should the seas get too rough on the way out.

Oh sure , and here I thought it might be some Fresh-Water diving. (sniff)

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!! :(

I hate these inconvienent cold fronts! We're were planning on heading out to the Sheridan on Saturday- (got to work friday) but now i'm thinking the weather is going to hold us back... If you head out to the sheridan, please post the details. I just hope this upcoming cold front stalls a little bit...

I'm watching the weather myself. I don't want to get caught up in bad seas. If we get out I'll definetly post the conditions.

Don't worry my rock crawling friend, I would be spending the whole 3 day weekend up at Cathy's, but I'm taking an IANTD adv. Nitrox/deco and staging class with Heinerth all weekend at Scuba West. After that I may actually be able to keep up with you pro's.

BTW, Had a great time back in November. looking forward to doing that again soon.

That info came directly from the NOAA marine weather site at about 0900 yesterday.

It is possible that an updated forecast was posted yesterday afternoon. Today at 1010 the forecast is " SATURDAY
SOUTHEAST WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET. BAY
AND INLAND WATERS A MODERATE CHOP. CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND SLIGHT
CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN THE MORNING...THEN CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON".
It appears that they are not expecting the impact of that front to be as severe as they previously expected.
