I was just certified in Santa Barbara. Went to the Channel Islands... it was great. If you want to check it out, I know of a trip coming up with some friends (within the next month, I think). Lemme know.

Welcome to the board. There's lots of good diving here in CA. I'm in Santa Barbara too so if any of you ever want to come out to the channel islands or some beach divng hit me up.

Welcome aboard. If you ever want to experience some cold water, limited vis diving at Morro Bay, Cambria, or Montana De Oro let me know. Monterey is great and worth the extra drive most of the time Almost forgot some of the local lakes such as millerton can be fun......or at least good enough to get wet

Lilypad, I was originally certified in Santa Barbara by a guy named Sam Spaulding in 1979.
