In the Photo Forum I was looking at some of Dee's excellent freshwater fish shots when the topic came up about IDing these critters.
I have the Peterson Field Guides Freshwater Fishes book, but am wondering if there is anything else out there, either on CD or in print. Or an online source/database might also be helpful.
Needless to say there are fishing books out there, but they are pretty sketchy on details. You know.. the ones that basically show a picture, tell you where to find them, which bait to use to catch them, and whether or not they taste better with lemon or tatare sauce.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
