On the one I saw in their shop the tube is about 2x normal size so there is no change in breathing resistance, but I have not tried it yet to see how clearing works.

I've been thinking about the concept, and it is possible that the inhalation tube would not flood, if the snorkel remained upright during the dive. Water pressure would compress the air in the tube during the dive, but it would again expand as one ascended. But, to accomplish that, a diver would need to keep his or her head oriented just right, which most of us would not do. Interesting concept though.

Interesting customer view point.

Actually, reducing the size of the inhale portion by 1/2 would increase resistance by 4 times.

The other one is that the use your average 130 lb person, breathing in a relaxed state... no comment about what happens when a 165 lb person is breathing harder...
