You studmuffin! If I didn't live 200 miles away, across the snarliest freeway system in the world, I'd be on the road right now! :D BTW, how many more days until Talk Like a Pirate Day?

Obviously its pretty common to get short fills in the dive industry and it will be for as long a we are diving. It very important to check the amount of air in the cylinder before you leave the store. Also check the temp of the cylinder to see whether the pressure will drop or not after you have left the store. Be on top of your air fills and you wont get a short.. I never get a short fill because i never leave the store untill its right.

When I was filling tanks, I did a slow fill, and I never had a complaint. Don't people around here have to get PSI certified to fill tanks? Never mind I know the answer to that.

That is the bottom line. Training on a proper fill.

Guess I will have to do what CaptAdam does. Check my fills every time. I don't think you should have to, but, with the lack of training, or the "don't care attitude" going around, I have to start.

Mental note: Bring gauge to check fill.

what you may want to do when someone calls and ask's"how much for ow course" first ask them their name, then explain that there are many variables/schedules and the best way is to come in to the store <SNIP>quote]

I am going to try this suggestion. We do offer flexible scheduling, and that, I believe, is what has been the key to our success. Thank you. :05:
