Free old zipper

Hi, I have an old farmer john I was thinking of using for snokelling. It's got some zippers on the cuffs that look like they have plastic teeth and maybe some sort of bronze alloy for the slider. The sliders are a bit corroded and don't slide any more.

Is there anything that might be used to free them up?

I take it dosing something neoprene with WD40 is a no-no.

Start with silicone spray and just let it work in there for a bit, then hot water. This has worked for me in the past. Good luck!
