Free Diving In So. Cal

Hi everyone, just found the forum today and can't wait to meet new scuba and free divers. I was recently open water certified in May 2010 and scheduled to take the advance course in August at Catalina Island. I would like to meet people I can free dive and speer fish with and learn from them, also I haven't been free diving mutch because of the saftey factor (I don't like to dive alone). If someone here woukd like a free diving/spear fishing buddy and would like spear fish please let me know.
