komi hunter:
You not going to over sleep this time????;);) I am sure we can find Komi's distant relative!!!!

If he sleeps in he will drive 90+ MPH to make up for it. :D

Sorry I won't be there, gotta make that money to support my diving habit, as well as get my truck repaired (small ding in the door).

Yeah, crpnter133 is right. I have to drive fast to get to BS within 80 min from my place.
One good thing is that the speed limit is increased to 70MPH from 65MPH on I-65.

Wow, are you perfectionist because you intend to fix A small ding in the truck door?

I won't be late because M.J. will skip this week due to an ear problem, so I can leave whenever I want...... Yahoo~~~~ (Ooops..... she doesn't hear it.....);)

Small ding as in the size of a grape fruit and the door won't close right.

Just finally getting back home and settled in. Thanks hoosier, ber rabbit, her hubby, hoosier's dive buddy (I'm bad with names), and my dive buddy for the day (ber's friend from Ohio). I wish I wasn't so bad with names, maybe someone could correct me so I could write them down and remember them next time. I also got to see KOMI in action and meet Diver4christ, but by the time I got done ripping down my rig he was gone.

I just wanted to thank you all for your hospitality and showing me around the sites. I hope I can get back up that way soon. Right now there might be a rough plan of coming up that way in September. I might come up and take that COVCI PSI course that I won and do some diving while I am up that way (maybe Gilboa?). Anyways, thanks again, and I am hoping to see ya'll soon.

Matt

You are quite welcome! That 81 degree water was a nice surprise huh? I was amazed it only dropped to 76 degrees under the thermocline. Anyone who has dove with me knows I freeze, I dive a 1/4 inch suit in Florida. I was diving a full length 3mm (with my beloved hood and gloves of course) in Indiana and did 5 one hour dives over the weekend and never got more than momentarily chilled. The visibility wasn't great but hey who cares when the water is warm in the midwest!

My husband's name is Bruce and your dive buddy was Barry :)

You won't be wearing a skin in Gilboa no matter what time of year you come up LOL! You do have to dive there though, it's a really cool place and the vis really never gets as bad as we had in Indiana when you go late in the season.

Glad you had a good time, I enjoyed getting to meet and dive with you as well as meeting some of the other board members who were there on Saturday (I too am bad with names and can't remember who I was talking to).

Looking forward to diving with you again!
Ber :lilbunny:

Matt,

It was our pleasure to dive with you. I wish I dived Sunday, but it was my birthday so, I had other pre-arrangement :)

The vis wasn’t good that much due to the previous days’ rain. The temp is the same in underwater all year around at BS. But, it was fun fun fun dive.

The dive buddy name is brad. We plan to dive together this Saturday morning again. He was amazed to see your diving skill. I hope you can get through cavern/cave dive courses.
I am sure that you must be more advanced diver when we meet again.
I hope we can dive together in GA anytime soon.

You guys, and gals ROCK !!!! I dive in a 3mm suit even at BS. her Highness has warned that Komi is going to have fun with with my little dive buddy, You know she will have a boytoy now 0707Hope to dive with you guys again soon. Maybe next weekend. The end of sept on a sun the LDS will have their treasure hunt at france park and you are all welcome all you need to do is register with the shop I will give you more details later. Who is up for labour day weekend camping and diving.

Thank you Ber and Hoosier for helping me out with the names I forgot, so next time I won't. It was my pleasure diving with ya'll, and hopefully when I come up to Gilboa I will have a nice new drysuit to use.

Hoosier: Keep me updated on the fraying of that wing, I'm really interested to see what happens with it. I would be trying to get those yahoo's to send you a new wing as it is fraying at the seams. Brad and you are fantastic divers as well. I came out of the water feeling very comfortable with my buddies skills.

Thanks again everyone!

Matt

Corigan,

I have already post the thread about frays on Halcyon wing. I also sent email to Halcyon company, but I don't get any replies so far. I will let you know how it goes.

Unfortunately, the picture didn't show the problem enough. As you see, it is not a limited area though.....

A company return a email.. that will be a first. That is one of my biggest pet peeves. If you aren't going to answer it then don't put it on your web site.

Maybe I will be able to join in on the next gathering. And with any luck the suit won't be trapping air so I can work on my trim.
