I"ve learned I have a fractured tooth. I'm going on a dive trip in the relatively near future. I'm told I can wait at least a month or so before having the tooth extracted. Now I remember learning that dental problems could become exacerbated when at depth. Anyone out there know about fractured teeth?

Thanks!

It kinda depends on the fracture I think. But I'll wait for the dentists to chime in.

I had a tooth extracted last year and was diving in the pool a week after the extraction. Just my experience. Let the scuba DDS give his input.

I'm not a dentist, but I play one on TV. I've been diving for 18 months with a tooth that had the crown AND a good portion of the top of the tooth break off. Not a smart idea, I know. However it has caused me no problem. I will get it removed at some point.

Your situation may be quite different than mine so I'm only offering mine as one example. Your mileage may vary. Check the EPA.
