forte bc?

I found a forte bc on ebay for a great deal, but i cant find any info or reviews on this brand. does anyone know who makes them or if they are any good.

my first bcd was a forte, circa 1994. It was a jacket bcd, with 4 metal d rings. the pockets were impossible to use. It logged about 100 dives until I got annoyed with the pockets and had more cash for a better bcd, and the inflator hose attachment got a crack in it so it leaked constantly. I would be wary buying any bcd that is too old or used because you don't know if the plastics have degraded over time and won't function safely.
