Quite a few tropicals, vis. was bleh last weekend but it varies by the hour. Bottom temp was like 68 F last Sunday according to another diver there.

Well, it's probably not what you want to hear but.....
I did a dive there this afternoon and the visibility was down to about 5 ft and the water is getting really green. It looks like the phytoplankton are blooming a bit after all the mixing from the storm.
The offshore vis wasn't any better. I was out on the U-853 in the morning before I did Ft. Wetherill and the visibility out there was also around 5 ft.

I felt it was necessary to paint "GIDDS" across the forehead of my hood so I'm fairly conspicuous Actually the idea is that my buddy won't lose me if diving in a group and my hood needed some sprucing up. I'll be with a guy, we'll have a bunch of squid and acting furtive about the purpose of the squid
I usually see at least two guys with big doubles there on the weekends so you'll have to do better than that description-wise.

See now you are getting serious..... a few weeks ago you would have said:
"I'll be there snorkeling Sat."
Now you are saying:
