Newspaper article says that Fort Pickens was granted an emergency construction permit that will have out-of-state crews working 6, 12hour days a week to get the road to Fort Pickens rebuilt before July 4th. They will be rebuilding the road just north of the old road to protect active turtle nesting grounds and allow a little more protection from the Gulf.

Looks like the jeddies will be accessible pretty soon then :D
