Alice took this one as we swam along the starboard weather deck.

Totally cool experince for me. I was stationed on the Captain Dan for 2 years when it was the USCG CUtter Hollyhock, in the early 80's. So I was pretty comfortable doing a wreck penetration without any real training. To me, it was walking around in your living room with the lights off. Ya, I haven't lived there for 25 years but I knew it like the back of my hand. Every compartment I came across brought back a flod of 25 year old memories. A real bizzare moment.

On Monday we dove on the Dwayne again. I was stationed TAD on her for two weeks during the Mariel Boatlift in 1980. Again, VERY weird knowing a shipwreck that well.
