Not to toot anyones Horn but just finished diving with BARE's CT-200 under my XCD2 Pro Dry. Starbord dry glove had an issue and flooded allowing water up my arm and partial chest flood.

Dive time 48 minutes

Water temp 46

I was only mildly uncomfortable. The best was wringing out the excess water after the dive and in about 1/2 hour on the defrost of the truck the undergarment was dry and the sleeve of the drysuit damp. The dryglove was a bit wetter but not bad.

Second dive for about the same time and conditions was no problem and not cold at all.

The slick coating on the CT-200 kept any residual moisture in the drysuit away for my and the dive went really warm and well.

Hope this helps anyone trying to decide on undergarments

Nice to hear - I just ordered the CT-200 yesterday for my compressed neo drysuit.

Were you wearing polypro underwear underneath or just the undergarment?

I was wearing a pair of long underwear, and a long sleeve t shirt. The long underwear were like tights? Something cyclists wear when it gets colder.

I had a pair of CT200 that came with my DUI drysuit (ordered from Divetank). I didn't like the fit of the CT200 at all. Then I tried on a pair of DUI PowerStretch 300 and love the fit and feel. Granted, it didn't have the outer water proof shell and cost quite a bit more. But I ended up returning the CT200 for the DUI PS300. :D

Were they the older model? The new ones have strechy parts at all the joints:D

They were definitely the new model that ad the stretchy parts. I am not trying to knock the CT200, but my wife and I bother liked the DUI better. I just felt warmer in it, and the fit was better. My wife did like how the women's CT200 had a zipper on the butt for quick relief. ;-)

Who needs them. Once you go numb you dont notice the cold.
