I have two original version devices for sale. $180 each or best offer. These are priced to sell. Don’t delay.
Looking for a safety tool to reduce the chances of drifting aimlessly on the ocean? Want to call your boat after you surface? Tired of carrying a large waterproof container because your current device isn’t waterproof? If so, you may want the original Nautilus Lifeline — the legendary orange/tan handheld marine radio with full VHF voice capability + DSC distress function.
Unlike the newer versions of the Nautilus Lifeline, this model lets you:
Both are in great condition :
The original Lifeline is widely regarded as the best version of the nautilus ever made because it combines GPS distress signaling and full-featured marine VHF radio functions in one rugged, waterproof package. Perfect for liveaboards, drift dives, or remote locations where instant communication can make all the difference. These always demand a premium price if you are lucky enough to find one since they haven’t been made for quite a few years.
Note that I left the current MMSI on the radios for testing purposes only. It may be illegal to use as is, and may impact your likelihood of getting found - do your own research. I am not an expert on the laws in your area. It’s an easy process to have Nautilus erase the existing MMSI so you can add your personal one.
As always with me, satisfaction is guaranteed. They aren’t corroded and they do not leak or have other issues. As long as you keep the oring clean, they will last for years to come. I did not plan to include the USBA - MicroUSB charge cord, but I can if you don’t already have several laying around. Check my seller history. Send me a private message if you are interested, want more pictures, etc.
I will mark this post as sold once both are gone. I will not bump my post just to tell you the price is lowered by a couple dollars until next week.
Price seems too high? Never hurts to make an offer.

If so, you may want the original Nautilus Lifeline — the legendary orange/tan handheld marine radio with full VHF voice capability + DSC distress function.
Unlike the newer versions of the Nautilus Lifeline, this model lets you:
- Talk directly to boats on VHF channels (not just broadcast AIS).
- Send a Digital Selective Calling (DSC) distress signal with your MMSI programmed in.
- Stay in two-way verbal communication during an emergency — an advantage few other similar devices offer.
Both are in great condition :
Brand new rechargeable 2100mah battery installed
Updated to the latest firmware
Fully tested - both are connecting to satellites and show "all good" response to the self test.
