Here's a good resource to order a restaurant card that you can take with you to restaurants. They have them in a lot of different languages and you can show to the server (who can show to the kitchen).

 
Don't count on showing someone "no dairy products" or sin lacteos - I'd bet over 50% of the time you'll still get that cheeseburger you order.

A lot of sauces are made with cream, cheese is everywhere
I’m used to that. She many places get in the routine of making things the same way and habit kicks in and they don’t realize they made it that way. Especially if eating when the place is very busy
