Hey Jim:
We have evaluated the Fogcutter in titanium several times. There is a problem manufacturing the Fogcutter in titanium. The hardness of Beta Titanium is less then 420 grade stainless steel. In testing the scissor function of the titanium Fogcutter some items we attempted to cut would instead become trapped between the blades of the scissors. The titanium material allows for a greater degree of flex then the 420 stainless steel.
The blades of the stainless steel Fogcutter have a two step chromate treatment, which does a good job of preventing rust with a little care.

Hi Mike
Are there any plans to offer these knives/shears in Ti?
Cheers Jim
