I own a Mares Avantgarde and was wondering if there is any problem in carrying it with me inside a handbag onboard the airplane. Before you guys go ahead and attack me for my choice of Bc :D I would like my question answered ;)

Thanks a lot

If it fits in the sizing things and is not too heavy, there should not be a problem.

Thanks for your answer. One more question, are there any issues of pressure causing any damage to the regulators?

no, people carry regs on planes all the time. You're just more likely to get your bag searched, especially airports where they are less familiar with dive gear.

Hi,
No problem carry your own reg on plane....I carry my reg on plane all the times...

And I don't bother carry anything on... I just check everything through. Always have... for years and hundreds of trips, and never had a single problem.
