I just don't log dives
On the chamber day dives on Wednesday, the Hermissenda's were huge and plentiful.

You could say we were at the scene of a mass Hermicide.

Being a Hermicidal maniac, Claudette wouldn't let the moment pass - so she suggested we fly one of juicier ones. I took about a zillion shots, and have sequentially animated a few for you below.

No Hermissenda's we harmed in the making of this whatever this is. He was placed back on his rock. Maybe a little dizzy, but none the worse for wear.

I'll put up my Chamber Day dive report in another thread.

Enjoy.

Ken, I think the creative side of you has taken control!

By the way, that Cuthona you saw and posted on in your report may well have been feeding on hydroids on the senescing Macrocystis blade. As you know, there are lots of critters like hydroids and bryozoa that attach to the blades once they've stopped growing.

As always, great photos... you're the man!

You could put several of those together and make a really nice piece of art for your wall

I'd buy one!
