Was hoping to do a little CR flyfishing fishing for bonefish or tarpon when not diving. Although I have seen a few references to tarpon in some of the inlets, does anyone have any details, permits/licenses, locations, hints etc..... ?

Much thanks

Thanks, any idea about bonefish? I was able to find a few places on Bonaire after multiple trips but this being a first trip to Curacao we are starting from scratch, are there large sandy, shallow, flats anywhere? Again, thanks

Hi Padicver,

There is a spot called pierebaai. It's a dive spot where atlantis has taken you probably. The pier in fronmt of Sea Side Terrace at the end of the pier in the direction of town is a sandy plateau.

hi pa,

there's bonefish in Spanish water and Fuikbaai. The wind makes flyfishing hard and sometimes impossible though. Sportfishing here is more trolling and deep bottomfishing. Casting for tarpon, snook and barracuda can be done best acros the road from the old amstel factory.

Have fun!
