flower gardens-manta rays-when?

hi everyone, hubby and i want to go to flower gardens this summer and would just absolutely love to see a manta ray. is there a particular time of the year when they appear more often out there or what has your experience been? thanks,d

Manta rays (Manta birostris) are found there year-round, and at least thirty of them are "residents" of the area. Spotted eagle rays school at the Flower Gardens in the winter.
