I was in Key West this past weekend and paid a visit to the Mel Fisher Maritime Heritage Museum. What a fantastic collection of artifacts! I have never seen such a wonderful display for public enjoyment and appreciation. I have also visited the Museum in Sebastian, Florida and it is equally impressive. They have the conservation laboratory behind a glass wall so that visitors can actually observe the preservation process.

I understand that the State of Florida has taken a percentage of all artifacts recovered in state waters from those who recovered them. Can anyone tell me where they are on display? Surely the state has a display that is at least as impressive.

Charlie Crist's buget! Sorry I couldn't resist.:blinking:
