I (might) want to fly with my Genesis 2.1.

Can anybody recommend a specific case to use for the scooter and its charger?

Total packed weight would, ideally, be under 50#, and not trigger an airline "oversized baggage" problem.

I'm guessing... the tube and tail section should be taken apart for packing? To avoid any pressure differential from creating a problem with the scooter's seals?

I searched and found info on the documents I should pack with the scooter for the TSA, but nothing about a piece of luggage to pack one in.

I fly my rEvo sandwiched between memory foam dog beds inside a Samsonite suitcase. That has worked perfectly for many thousands of miles of air travel. Should I whip up something similar for the Genesis?

I split mine between two bags. Seems to the be easiest. Tail in one and tube in the other and then add clothes and such around them. keeps the weight spread more equally and I have had zero issues doing this.

We have a travel bag for the small body Genesis DPVs with room to add a light wetsuit or BCD on top of the body and still come in at 50lbs. Just need to remove the 4 screws on the handle mount and fold it forward or tuck it in the prop area. 15x15x30 dimensions. Charger goes in another bag, due to weight. I've traveled with Genesis for years with it, Caribbean, Palau, Maldives...

Ah ha! I thought I had seen that somewhere before! But, I searched here and couldn't find it and looked on your website and didn't see it.

How much is that? (PM or email me if you prefer)
