Interesting, the number of snorkelers and free divers include with the scuba deaths.

Weren't there other Spiegel Grove incidents that resulted in fatalities last year?

I think Oriskany also clamied 3 -4 lives already. I don't know its just ppl who are not trained right and they enter the wreck or do thing which they are not supposed to or something else.

DoItRite:
Oriskany has not had a single death or even serious incident to date.

Not true.

PENSACOLA, Florida (21 Aug 2006) -- A man who had just surfaced after scuba diving Saturday afternoon on the Oriskany died of unknown causes.

Why does it keep censoring this site. OK then, merge the following two lines.

I am surprised that these reports have not started any discussions.

what kind of discussion were you hoping to spark?

Dive safely, or end up being a statistic.

Spiegel Grove is one of the most dived locations in the United States, and it's track record (taking that into account) is pretty good.
