So the bottom of my 3 mm's zipper is broken such that the little plastic clamp thingy at the very bottom has slipped off one side of the zipper. It's the thing that keeps the two zipper sides together when the pull slide is down all the way. Now if the zipper is down one side of the zipper can come out of the track. Makes it difficult to don the wetsuit without getting the slide off track. It can be done but involves a great bit of care with holding the leash in my teeth and so forth.

I have thought about super gluing the very bottom of the zipper and then oversewing it with some heavy duty thread. Any other ideas? Sorry if this is not clear or if my terminology is not correct.

Thanks!

That happened on my wifes hooded step-in shorty. After patiently getting it reengaged and zipping it up she just went 3 or 4 teeth from the bottom and just ran multiple stitches of nylon thread to sew that section closed thus keeping it from ever escaping at the bottom.
