Pure alcohol isn't recommended for ear drops. It strips all the wax out & can expose you to even more problems.

A good home recipe is simple:

1/3 isopropyl alcohol, 1/3 white vinegar, 1/3 distilled water.

I keep a small bottle with a dropper in my gear bag & use it after the days diving is done.

another vote for "Sink the Stink'. it tends to work pretty well...and next time don't take your new 350 into the tank!

.......not sure I want to sit for an hour and a half in 45 degree water in a 7mm. Perhaps I should find another old drysuit to do this work if that ends up being the case. For now my wife got some heavy cordura to make me pockets (she flipped at $50/$75 a pocket from DUI when she can sew them) and she has plenty left over to do some small pads on the shoulders.
 
DUI suggested Simple Green to clean it. I know they use the stuff to clean valves /regs etc.
