The recommended operations are all good ones, from what I have heard. I would like to add Carlos Vega at Aquarius Travel (http://aquariusflatsfishing.com/).

The last great fishing boat I found, though, I found by taking a cab to the Caleta marina in the late afternoon when the boats were coming in. I just walked around looking at the boats and talking to the skippers and crew, and when I found a boat and crew that I liked, I booked a trip.

When I started going to Cozumel, it was for the fishing; I added diving later. May is the best month for fishing there.

I recomend Albatros Charters as well. We will be in Coz Jan 29th - Feb 6th. Cant wait!!!
Check them out for diving and fishing. Snorkeling for those who dont dive while you are diving. They are great! They helped us with finding lodging also.
