Fish? ID?

Can any one ID this fish? Taken 02/27/2012, Paradise, night dive. Not a great shot, but trying to ID everything we saw. We've been pouring over books but can't find this one. Thanks!

Thank you! The angle of the photo had me thinking it was more like a pipefish, so I never looked at the correct shape.

He was arrested in '03 for an assault and batter after his girlfriend was found on a plate at El Fish. He wasn't convicted, but it was suspected a drinking buddy, an eel named Marty, might have helped.......
