It is becomming increasingly obvious that an expedition to the site needs to be arranged. Tommy & I will just have to come down and see for ourselves. Half a dozen dives or so on a spring weekend ought to do the trick. :)

The headshape says blackfin, the foredorsal says marbled or other.

This guy named Google has lots of pictures of all sorts of Blennies.
 
I'm heading out to look for it - to get some more photos of it.
 
do a search for Basslet, perhaps a tobbaco basslet
