If your just getting into photography now I'd start with digital. The amount of $ you'll spend on film processing will quickly add up and the shots you take probably aren't going to be very good as you'll be learning. Go digital, it'll save you $ in the long run.

MAGELLAN once bubbled...
So, I'm guessing something, not digital? Although, I imagine I would eventually go digital.
You could get something like this on ebay. I doubt you'll be happy with it though. Grandma used to always say "Buy it Cheap, Buy it Twice"

Scuba Photographers,

You can order your scuba & u/w photo equipment all in one order. I realized on my last order that LeisurePro was out of stock on the strobe I wanted. Then, I realized these two companies where owned by the same company. I was able to order the strobe from Adorama & some scuba stuff from LeisurePro in the same order. Just place your order through LeisurePro and mention the item is from Adorama when ordering.

Photo equipment:

Scuba equipment:

Save a little on shipping & get a great price on the gear at the same time!

Cheers,
Don

I use a Sealife DC-250 it is my first camera as I just started myself. LP has it on sale for about $360.00 which is a pretty good. The one I got is a 2.1MP and the new one is a 3.3MP. I def agree with everybody elses opinion on film and saving money. My buddy uses a film camera and pays a fortune in film developing costs while I can get about 100 pics in mine and edit after each dive. Hope this helps

That makes sense. That's the beautiful thing about digital cameras, being able to review your pictures and all. I suppose I'll just have to put it on my wish list for later.

Getting 200+ photos on one roll of film is the other benefit of digital. Especially if you only manage to dive a few times a year.
