Isn't that a shame:shakehead: I can envision baggage handlers going through suitcases and grabbing things they want so I always put TSA approved locks on our suitcases. It never fails...any pocket that is left unlocked is always open when I reach my destination. I figure it's better to be safe than sorry :dontknow:

The sad part is I did buy a TSA approved lock and forgot it in Chicago. It will not happen again! How was Fiji CajunDiva?

It was so amazing that I am a changed person! The people of Fiji are the most kind, compassionate, loving people I have ever encountered, and I can't wait to go back some day. (After returning to Roatan, of course;))

The diving was phenomenal...SO MANY colors - the soft coral is unbelievable. We also saw lots of sharks, sea snakes, MULTITUDES of fish and even a sea turtle. It's a destination I would most definitely recommend. See my three part trip report in the Pacific Islands section of ScubaBoard...

Don't hesitate...book it as soon as possible! I highly recommend Garden Island Resort on Taveuni Island. Diving the Rainbow Reef is to die for :shocked2::D

Unfortunately I do not see it in the near future. My fiance is in Pharmacy School so money will be tight for a couple of years. When we get married we plan to Honeymoon in Australia. Maybe we can tie the two together in one trip!

Bec, I always take trip insurance for international trips, mostly for the medical coverage - and it has some theft/loss coverage. Wondering if you had such, or homeowners/renters insurance?

I also cover some items on a State Farm Personal Articles Policy, but I doubt that you mad such. Really sorry you lost you camera. Ebay and Walmart have some good buys, and everyone needs to have a good one.

Sounds like an amazing honeymoon in the works...it's worth the wait :bounce3:

Thanks for the ideas DandyDon. No we did not take out trip insurance but will definitely look into it in the future. We do have homeowners insurance but the deductible is more than a new camera will cost. So, more lessons learnes! About another 10 trips or so and I should be able to write a book. :)
