I could be wrong, but I think the swivel is only available on piston regs, and today most regs are diaphragm.

No big deal if you have one or not, as long as you're happy with your hose routing. I used to use a Sherwood Oasis, and one of its shortcomings was that the first stage kept hitting me in the back of my head. To compensate, I had to wear my tank quite low on my back. That was a little irritating, as I had to re-tune my trim. Now I use an Atomic B2 regulator with a swivel first-stage. That eliminated the problem of having a first stage thwacking my skull, and I was able to reposition my tank where it trimmed me out best. I also liked the options it afforded for routing my long-hose. That said, the first couple of times I tried to dress my tank took longer than usual - I kept wondering why my damn gauge was on the 'wrong' side.

thank you for the reply vinegar, I have admit that i had a few laughs at your "wrong side gauges" and i have no doubt that it will happen to me too a couple of times if i decide to get the swivel.

Just remember: being humbled is character-building (apparently). :D
