Hey everybody,

This is my first attempt at taking a Dslr underwater. Please let me know what you think:D. These shots were taken at the Blue Heron Bridge. For some reason they don't
look as crisp here as the original files do.

hey Matt, very nice portrait of the Blenny. Congrats on photo #3

If they don't look as crisp here, try to narrow down where the problem is - it could be a browser, gallery or photo editor is changing the quality of your photo, do some tests to isolate exactly where it is happening. A friend of mine recently had the same issue, but I'm not sure if he isolate what the cause was.

Nice pics. when I upload pics here that my dive buddies take, they always lose some color and crispness as well, so I know what you are saying!
 
Great stuff Matt !!!

Perhaps try a small amount of sharpening after you have downsized them for the web?
