Patience is a virtue, as they say

Patience is a virtue seldom found in women... NEVER in a man.

Though I'm not sure if it applies to us -- we're scubabades and scubadudes! lolol

Haha, DivingGal.... never heard that ending before! Does it apply to us ?? Hmmm.... :p

Keralucu,
My first night dive-and every one after that for that matter-wasn't very exciting. It was in the LosAngeles area at Cresent Beach in Luguna Hills. The only thing that I saw was a scat and a crab. I say it wasn't very exciting, but I don't know what I would have done if I had seen a shark pass in front of my light beam-ENTER JAWS MUSIC.
I plan on going in the next couple of weeks to Monterey for another night dive though.

Viking.... what is a scat when it's at home?

SV, did you mean skate? There weren't any lobster, octopus, or sharks? You're diving in the wrong place buddy. Drive on down to San Diego for a day and I'll show the best places to go to see all of the above.

Sea you in the Deep Blue!

Where I come from a scat is what we call the result of defecation by some wildlife species (eg. kangaroo, quoll, possum). No wonder you were not very excited.

Mountaintutle

Mountainturtle... and ID - :p.... that's what I was thinking, but being a lady, didn't want to mention it on these boards!

(of course it could also be a form of jazz singing... as in Scatman...)

Thanks Mario - as soon as I posted that I realised it must be a skate!
:)
