Well today was my first day to try my new Halcyon setup. I'm using a SS backplate with a 30lb Eclipse wing.

My first impression are very favorable. The rig felt comfortable from the beggining. It was slightly loose on my first dive so I adjusted the webbing and had a much better fit on the second dive.

My trim and weighting was great. The first dive I went to a training platform and just played around getting used to the system. I flet like I was completely horizontal, and neautral with no additional weight. The second dive felt as good if not better then the first dive. I was wearing 2lbs of weight plus the rig setup of about 7lbs, but still thought I was completely horizontal, but Dee(Scubaboard Dee) told me I had a slight heads up trim. I may have been slightly overweighted as I let my air pressure run down to 200psi and still had no trouble maintain my depth. Also upon my ascent, I was able to do it just by controlling my breathing. No kicking needed, and in a slow controlled ascent.

Bottom line is I love this system.
