I'm not an instructor nor a camera expert, but have seen a head-mounted Go Pro on a student in the pool on one of the OW courses I assisted on. Didn't seem to be a bother or distraction to the student or instructor. I can see the reasoning for wanting video of your very first dive. Remember "Helmet Cam" from the old WLAF?
